Genuinely important to know: hydraulic (fluid-filled) mounts and simple rubber mounts are used in different positions on the same Corsa engine, and they aren't interchangeable — check which type is fitted at each mounting point before ordering a replacement. The genuine reference below covers the rear torque-rod mount specifically, common across the small-petrol/diesel Corsa D and E range.

What It Does

Engine mounts secure the engine and transmission to the chassis while absorbing vibration and movement, preventing that vibration from transferring directly into the cabin. Most versions of the Corsa use several mounts working together — typically at least one on each side of the engine plus a torque mount — and a single failed mount can throw off the whole assembly's balance.
