A genuine cost figure worth knowing if your car has factory reversing camera hardware: even once the physical camera has been fitted, it commonly requires activation through dealer-level diagnostic software before it will actually work — one documented case saw this activation step alone cost £108 for an hour's labour, separate from the camera and its installation.
