Ford's own guidance confirms a "blocked sensor" warning can appear even without a genuine obstruction, and it's worth trying a simple clean first: a soft cloth with an approved, non-abrasive cleaner (isopropyl alcohol is commonly recommended) wiped gently over the grille-mounted sensor cover, avoiding anything abrasive that could damage the cover's coating.

Worth knowing if you've had any front-end work done: a grille replacement, front bumper repair, or even a minor parking knock can throw the radar sensor's alignment out — even a fraction of a degree matters, since the sensor needs to be aimed within roughly one degree of accuracy to work correctly.
